1. Dedicated Virtual SMS Number

2. Shared System Number

• All customers can send SMS using Notifyre’s shared system number.

• Each time you send the SMS will come from a different number.

• Replies from recipients do not appear in your Conversations tool, to use the SMS inbox you must have a dedicated number.

• Ideal for businesses that don’t need a dedicated number.

3. Custom Sender ID

• You can customise the sender name (up to 11 characters) to display your business name instead of a phone number.

• Note: When using a Sender ID, recipients cannot reply to your messages.

• Perfect for one-way notifications or alerts.

To port your SMS number(s) to Notifyre, you’ll need to complete a Porting Authority Form and provide supporting identification. The form requires details such as your company or customer name, ABN/ACN (if applicable), address, current mobile service provider, account/reference number (or date of birth if an individual), preferred porting date, and an alternate contact number.

Once completed, email the form and documents to support@notifyre.com. Porting times vary depending on your current provider, and we’ll keep you updated throughout the process. 

Yes! Businesses can receive SMS replies when using a virtual SMS number. Once your number is activated, you’ll be able to receive and respond to messages seamlessly.

Replies can be managed via SMS API, in the Conversations tool within the online SMS platform, or using your email by sending a new text message directly to the customer.
