You can use branded custom Sender IDs for one-way messages or virtual SMS numbers for two-way communication, depending on your use case.

While SMS OTP messages are typically delivered within seconds, there can be slight delays due to factors outside Notifyre’s control. These include:

• Carrier Network Traffic: High-volume periods or congestion on mobile networks can slow message routing.

• Recipient Location: International delivery may involve multiple carrier hops, adding milliseconds or seconds to the process.

• Number Type & Restrictions: Some countries impose filtering or require pre-approved virtual SMS numbers or Sender IDs, which can add processing time.

• Device Conditions: If the recipient’s phone is out of coverage, switched off, or roaming, delivery will be delayed until the device reconnects.

A 2FA (Two-Factor Authentication) code is a temporary numeric or alphanumeric code used as an extra layer of security during login or sensitive actions. It’s typically sent via SMS, email, or generated by an authenticator app. The purpose of 2FA is to verify that the person accessing the account is the legitimate user by requiring something they know (password) and something they have (the code). For example when logging into a banking app, after entering your password, you receive a 6-digit code via SMS. You must enter this code to complete the login process.
