Feature Release: Team Onboarding & Bulk SMS Number Purchasing

New Features For Enterprise Organisations

At Notifyre, we’re always looking for ways to simplify and enhance your experience. For enterprise businesses using our online fax and text messaging services, managing a growing team just got easier. In December 2024 Notifyre introduced four new features:  

1. Bulk Invite Team Members - A powerful tool designed to streamline team onboarding.  

2. Bulk 10DLC Number Purchasing - Account Admins can purchase up to 50 SMS numbers at once.  

3. SMS & Fax Number Assignment for users - Virtual Fax and SMS numbers can be assigned to team members. 

4. New “limited access” role - This role will restrict access based on the number(s) assigned to a user. Users can send, receive, and viewing messaging activity for the assigned numbers. 

1. Bulk Invite Team Members

Managing large teams can be challenging, but Notifyre’s bulk invite feature simplifies the process. Instead of manually adding team members one by one, Admins can quickly upload a CSV file containing details for up to 250 individuals, drastically reducing the time and effort required to onboard large teams.

The feature supports bulk uploads with key information, such as team member names, email addresses, assigned account permission levels, and associated numbers. This ensures everyone gets set up correctly and seamlessly without errors caused by repetitive manual entry.

Automated invitations are emailed to each users with instruction on setting up their profile, this reduces the back-and-forth typically associated with onboarding.

By enabling team members to get started faster, businesses can reduce delays in critical communication workflows. Employees can immediately access the tools they need for SMS or fax messaging, enabling prompt and effective collaboration.

2. Bulk 10DLC Number Purchasing

Businesses running campaigns across multiple regions or departments need a larger pool of dedicated numbers to maintain personalised customer interactions. Bulk purchasing streamlines this process, saving time and reducing the manual workload for admins.

Instead of acquiring numbers individually, which can be tedious and error prone, bulk purchasing simplifies logistics and helps businesses get campaigns operational faster.

After your 10DLC campaign has been approved head over to the Numbers page to select SMS numbers and add to your cart. 

3. SMS & Fax Number Assignment for Users 

By limiting access to only the user’s activities for assigned numbers, businesses can better protect sensitive customer and business information. This feature aligns with data protection regulations and prevents unauthorised access to company-wide communications.

Organisations can manage permissions more effectively, ensuring users only have access to the tools they need for their specific roles. This reduces risks of accidental errors and access to confidential or irrelevant information. 

With access restricted to messaging activity for assigned fax or SMS numbers, users experience a cleaner interface tailored to their responsibilities, increasing productivity and reducing the chance of errors.

4.New “Limited Access” Role

Assigning specific fax or SMS numbers to team members ensures accountability and clarity when managing customer communications, making it easier to track and respond to messages effectively.

Number assignment must be done in conjunction with importing users via the downloadable template in your Notifyre account.
